5 Ultraviolet Water Purifier Replacement Parts to Keep on Hand
Since it is important to make sure your ultraviolet water purifier is continuously running, you might be wondering what replacement parts are required after you install your UV water purifier.
Ordinary maintenance consists of cleaning the quartz sleeve once monthly or more frequently where conditions indicate. Lamp replacement is recommended every 10,000 hours of operation (approximately 14 months of continuous service).

One further tip is to purchase a UV water purifier with a Dual Action Wiper, such as the SANITRON® or MEGATRON®. This wiper mechanism is worth its weight in gold. The wiper facilitates periodic cleaning of the quartz sleeve without interruption of purifier operation.
