The Monozone™ Ultraviolet Air Ozone Generator uses STER-L-RAY ® Germicidal Ozone-Producing Lamps to remove germs and odors in the air. In unoccupied spaces, you can deactivate virus, bacteria, and fungi with germicidal UV-C. Ozone removes smells such as cigarettes, smoke, and mold.
9 Integrated Features Make the Monozone™ Effective, Economical, and Easy to Maintain
- STER-L-RAY ® Germicidal Ozone-Producing UV-C Lamps are short-wave, low-pressure tubes that remove germs and odors in the air. They emit germicidal ultraviolet at 254 nanometers — a wavelength that is highly lethal to virtually all microorganisms. These lamps also give off ozone-producing ultraviolet rays at 185 nanometers to deodorize and clean the air. Their longevity allows you to only replace them once a year, or every 10,000 hours.
- Steadfast™ Lampholders have a spring-loaded telescopic holder on one end and a stationary holder on the other. Lamp change and occasional lamp cleaning are quick and easy. Just about anyone can perform these tasks without special tools.
- A polished, stainless steel chamber with aluminum reflector maximizes the ultraviolet rays.
- Durable Type 304 Stainless Steel stands up to harsh environments. Quality construction ensures years of service. The attractive, polished surface wipes clean with ease.
- Interlock Safety Switch functions as an extra safety precaution. Located under the cover, it disconnects power to the model when its access panel is opened for lamp or filter replacement.
- Louvered Exhaust Panel restricts ultraviolet rays from passing out of the chamber, while allowing circulation of ozone that will remove mold, smoke, and other strong odors.
- Promate™ Observation Port / Sight Glass allows for safe visual inspection of the lamp(s).
- Promate™ Particulate Washable Electrostatic Filter can be reused, saving you money on replacement filters.
- Promate™ Standard Wall Mount Kit features (2) pre-drilled stainless steel brackets to simplify the installation process.
Monozone™ Models 2-OZ, 3-OZ, and 6-OZ Remove Germs and Odors in the Air
With any of the models, the area must remain unoccupied while operating. Although each of the models comes standard with the Louvered Exhaust Panel to protect from UV-C rays, exposure to concentrated ozone is dangerous.
