Patented Wiper makes SANITRON® UV Water Purifier the Clear Choice, and the Best Ultraviolet Water Purifier on the market today.
Many UV water treatment systems available on the market require complete shutdown, disassembly, special tools, and highly trained personnel for quartz sleeve cleaning. This equates to production stop, lost revenue, and a potential safety disaster. A moment of system disruption is something you simply cannot afford. The SANITRON® Ultraviolet Water Purifier was designed for uninterrupted service during quartz sleeve cleaning.

A Clean Quartz Sleeve Ensures Optimum UV Water Purification
The quartz sleeve in the SANITRON® Ultraviolet Water Purifier houses the germicidal lamp. Quartz allows short-wave ultraviolet rays to pass into the treatment chamber of the Sanitron. Over time the quartz sleeve will experience some dirt or residue on the outside of the quartz sleeve deposited there from the water passing through the system. The wiper removes this build up on the quartz sleeve and helps to ensure all ultraviolet rays from the lamp enter the treatment chamber. For systems without a wiper system, the homeowner would need to remove the flow of water to the UV system, drain the chamber, remove the quartz sleeve, and clean by hand, then reassemble the unit.
Ultimate clarity of the CRYSTAL CLEAR™ Quartz Sleeve allows germicidal ultraviolet lamp rays to effectively pass through water in the purifier chamber, making it free of microorganisms. To ensure optimum lamp output, clean the quartz sleeve once a month, or more frequently where required.
