The SANITAIRE® Ultraviolet Room Air Sanitizer has been developed to provide adequate germicidal ultraviolet dosage into an occupied room. Utilize the SANITAIRE® Room Air Sanitizer to protect occupants including– but not limited to– personnel, clients, and patients from infection due to airborne microbes, particularly in crowded or poorly ventilated areas and where the risk of cross infection is high.
The principle of operation is such that air is drawn into the SANITAIRE® through the fixture’s filters. The air is then forced into the chamber of the SANITAIRE® where it is irradiated by germicidal ultraviolet light (more UV lamps in a model would provide more UV dosage and therefore handle larger spaces). The purified air exits the SANITAIRE® into the space and the process continues for as long as the SANITAIRE® is operating.
Numerous models are available to handle various configurations for different occupied areas. The first model offered can be used either as a free standing piece of equipment or can be more permanently wall mounted as centrally as possible within the desired space.
For rooms that have t-bar ceiling tiles, we manufacture a SANITAIRE® model that can be installed directly into the recessed tile or tiles for an aesthetically pleasing result.
For those large spaces where disinfection would need to be done routinely but not necessarily all the time, the mobile SANITAIRE® is the version to choose.
