UV-C Treats Bacteria on Meat During Bacon Slicing and Wrapping
Frequent infection with mold spores on sliced and unsliced bacon is a common problem in the meat processing industry and can be solved with the help of Germicidal UV-C Rays. Condensation can create a favorable environment for mold to develop rapidly. Bacon faces the additional threat of mold development in between slices. Every pass of the cutting blade transports and deposits mold spores from the bacon’s outer surface onto each of the individual slices.
