Feature #1: Drain Plug
Emptying the purifier chamber should not be a time burden or strength training exercise. That is why we included a drain plug. Simply remove the plug and let the water empty. No need to disconnect and move the unit.
Feature #2: Quick UV Lamp Change with Easy Off™ End Cap
We recommend lamp replacement every 10,000 hours, or 14 months of use. Our Exclusive EASY-OFF™ End Cap allows for quick and easy access to the STER-L-RAY ® Germicidal UV Lamp. You don’t need tools or to disconnect the purifier from the water supply. Best of all there is no need to drain the water. Feature #3: Patented Dual Action Wiper Mechanism to Clean Quartz Sleeve
The CRYSTAL CLEAR™ Quartz Sleeve ensures optimum lamp output. For ordinary maintenance, clean the sleeve once a month or more often if needed. The dual action wiper mechanism allows for quick and easy quartz sleeve cleaning with no interruption of service. Simply lift the wiper clip, gently pull the wiper knob out, and push the knob back in. Repeat 2 or 3 times and return wiper clip. Your quartz sleeve is now clean, ensuring maximum UV output from the lamp inside. No disassembling!
Feature #4: SANITRON Sight Port Plug
This translucent plug will glow from your germicidal lamp. The glow of the lamp through the sight port shows that the lamp is operating properly. For assurance that the lamp is producing UV-C rays lethal to bacteria, virus, and other microorganisms, add one of our optional monitors to your SANITRON® Ultraviolet Water Purifier: The STERALERT™ Lamp Status Alarm, SENTRY™ Safety Sensor, or GUARDIAN™ Ultraviolet Monitor. Additional options include the Promate™ Audio Alarm to alert the user to any malfunction detected, SureFLO™ Flow Control Valve to limit water flow to the rated capacity, and Promate™ Solenoid Valve to prevent water flow through the purifier whenever an abnormal condition is detected.
Feature #5: Removable Flanged Head
The SANITRON® S2400C models have heads that are removable and which may be rotated. This feature can aid in the installation, maintenance, or when retrofitting an existing system. Should an unfortunate accident occur and the quartz sleeve break, the removable flanged head also allows for easy access to the interior of the chamber. This eliminates disassembling the purifier and shaking it until the glass comes out. The chamber is easily accessed.
Feature #6: Ability to Interconnect for Higher Flow Rates
This line of water purifiers can be used in residential as well as commercial settings. The modular style of the SANITRON® Ultraviolet Water Purifier model S2400C can be interconnected with additional S2400C models for higher and varying flow rates.
