It is additionally classified as a preheat, low ozone-producing lamp with standard output. This lamp has a rated effective life of 10,000 hours and should be changed once a year. This germicidal lamp is well-suited to applications requiring high ultraviolet intensity, such as water disinfection, air purification in duct systems, and conveyorized product disinfection
