1. Dual Filter Housing Removes Unpleasant Tastes & Odors
The two-part filtration system rids your water of unpleasant tastes and odors. A sturdy, 5-micron sediment filter traps rust, scale, silt, sand, and other particles. The carbon filter reduces chlorine, trihalomethanes (THMs), and pesticides.
2. STER-L-RAY ® Germicidal UV-C Lamps Give You Pure Water
The disinfection chamber uses STER-L-RAY ® Germicidal UV-C Lamps that produce short-wave UV radiation lethal to bacteria, virus, and other microorganisms. Virtually all microorganisms are susceptible to ultraviolet disinfection. The lamp is housed in a fused quartz sleeve which, unlike ordinary glass, allows UV rays to pass through into the water. STER-L-RAY ® lamps are economically designed to use less operating power than other lamp types. Lamps only need changing about once a year.
3. Surelite™ Ballasts Ensure Economical Operation
These ballasts are electronic and specifically developed for ultraviolet lamps. Versatile and instant start, they provide higher lamp output at a smaller and lighter footprint than magnetic ballasts. They also use less electricity and operate at a cooler temperature.
4. No Need to Hire a Plumber Thanks to Rotatable Heads
This feature sets the Bio-Logic® apart from other units on the market. Rotatable heads on either side of the purifier chamber streamline installation. Flexibility allows you to match the existing water connection. Save your money — there’s no need to hire a plumber.
5. Installation Kit Gives You, the Almighty Do-It-Yourselfer, Everything You Need to Hook Up
The Bio-Logic® Pure Water Pack™ installation kit comes with everything you need to hook up the entire system — tubing, a saddle valve (fits feed pipes between 3/8″ to 1/2″), mounting bracket, and even a long-reach, stainless steel faucet. The faucet operates with a spring closed lever. Push it against the spout to lock it in the ON position.
This unit is designed for under-the-sink mounting. The included stainless steel mounting bracket holds all filtration and disinfection components neatly together. A compact footprint enables you to maximize your under-the-sink space.
6. Quick UV Lamp Change with EASY-OFF™ End Cap
Our exclusive EASY-OFF™ End Cap gives you quick and easy access to the UV lamp for replacing. There are no tools needed and you don’t have to disconnect from the water supply. Best of all, there’s no need to drain the existing water.
